Affirmations can be extremely powerful in redirecting your thoughts. I have eczema, and stress is a trigger. Learning how to redirect my thoughts was so crucial to my prevention of flare-ups & healing. The more stressed I was, the more I would itch. The more I would itch, the more stressed I became. It was a vicious circle, and I needed out. Affirmations are one tool that I use to get out of that circle.

My favourite places & times to use affirmations’

  • Washing hands! Yup, we all do it, A LOT these days. Why not turn it into an intentional time?

  • When you are looking in the mirror after getting ready in the morning or while brushing your teeth, nothing forms beliefs stronger than looking yourself in the eyes.

  • While you are waiting for something, pass the time by nurturing your mind.

  • During meditation -> how to is next!


Finger Touching Affirmation Meditation

  • Touch your thumb and index finger together on the right hand. Say your affirmation. - Don’t have one? Create yours by downloading the free workbook below!

  • Next, touch your thumb and middle finger together, say your affirmation.

  • Continue to touch your thumb to each of your fingers on the right side

  • Repeat on the left hand

  • Congratulations! You did it!
